Armored Warfare, that “other” tank game, has an update out that’s adding a whole new tier of vehicles to the mix. The M1A2, CRAB, BMPT-72, Leopard 2A6, T-90MS, B1 Draco, Challenger II, and M8 Thunderbolt can attain tier 9 status, although getting there is trickier than ever.
Obsidian Entertainment explains the complicated process: “Any tier 9 vehicle can be unlocked by completing the necessary progression in any tier 8 vehicle in the same dealer. After spending reputation to research a tier 9 unlock upgrade in the tier 8 vehicle’s upgrade tree, players will be presented with an interface that allows them to select any available tier 9 vehicle in the same dealer. The tier 9 unlock upgrade can only be researched once per tier 8 vehicle. After unlocking the tier 9 vehicle, it must still be purchased with credits as usual.”
Update 0.11 also added the ability to create custom matches and adjusted the stats on several of Armored Warfare’s line-up. You can check out the tier 9 trailer below!
