World of Warcraft’s forthcoming Legion expansion will turn gnome Hunters into a thing. And by a thing, I meant gnomes who are Hunters rather than hunters of gnomes. This is apparently a big deal, seeing as how Blizzard was compelled to post about it and a hundred-odd people were compelled to comment on said post.
Gnomes will bring with them a new mechanical pet family for the Hunter class. If you’re not a gnome, you’ll still be able to control one of these “artificial animals” thanks to a device that gnomish Engineers will construct. Blizzard says that mechanical pets will be challenging to tame, since they require the Hunter to first locate them and secondly use his Hunter abilities in “unusual ways.”
