By land or by sea? You don’t have to choose if you nab yourself one of ARK: Survival Evolved’s newest additions: the giant beaver. Officially known as Castoroides Feliconcisor, this large herbivore joins the island in update v236. Players may find it useful when crafting on the move as it can quickly collect quite the pile of wood with its giant chisel-shaped teeth. To find a furry new friend of your own, look around for massive wooden dams blocking the rivers. You can also scope out the beaver in its natural habitat in the video spotlight below.
Other additions in this update include the ability to handcuff other players (who hasn’t been waiting for this feature?) as well as “a number of improved client and server side performance streaming improvements.”
