BlizzCon 2017: Overwatch’s new BlizzardWorld map, support toon Moira

During this afternoon’s BlizzCon 2017 opening ceremonies, Blizzard announced an epic update for Overwatch that you may not have seen coming, given the paltry number of Overwatch panels on the docket this year.

For starters, the game is getting a brand-new map, BlizzardWorld. Yep, it’s an amusement park honoring World of Warcraft’s Stormwind. It’s adorable. It’s playable at BlizzCon today and is expected to hit the PTS soon, though it won’t launch until early 2018.

The studio also announced Moira, a new support hero. We’ve tucked her reveal video, as well as a character short on Reinhardt, down below.
