Blade & Soul is just refusing to slow down its wild content rollout, and it’ll continue down that path this June with Celestial Dawn. Due out on June 20th, the update is framed as a battle against the Grand Celestial Emperor himself. Man, why didn’t you kill that guy the last time?!

“The Grand Celestial Emperor has returned! Though you have failed in your quest to stop Chol Mugo from possessing the Emperor’s power, you have one last chance at redemption. Stand against this resurrected tyrant in the final chapter of the Chol Mugo saga.”

NCsoft’s splash page teases a 12-man raid to take on the “Scorptamaton” as well as the Emperor, in addition to a new solo dungeon in which you “face down your own Greed, Rage, Fears, and Goals as they manifest in the form of adversaries and allies from your past.” New legendary weapons and legendary accessory enhancements are also on the docket.
