It’s kind of difficult to miss that it’s the ninth anniversary of Champions Online, because the game has been celebrating it pretty much non-stop. And there’s another celebration right here, too, but you’ll need to get ready for it pretty quickly if you’d missed it. The game is hosting a costume contest tonight at 8:00 p.m. EDT, and it’s going to be a live costume contest broadcast to the world. So you just have to wow both the staff and an audience of viewers, no pressure.
The theme of the contest? The anniversary, of course. The grand prize? A gold costume voucher, two developer tokens, Therakiel’s Sword, and an original piece of CO concept art. That’s a whole lot of stuff for dressing up, so perhaps now is the time to look fashionable and dress to the nines. If you’re eager for the chance at winning or just to flex your creative muscles, jump on in this evening.
