Hooray-ish.

In a move that will no doubt stun and amaze longtime players, the latest Fortnite update actually comes close to having an equal amount of attention given to both the game’s Battle Royale mode and the PvE Save the World mode. Battle Royale obviously got some big additions in the form of a new two-seater vehicle, the Quadcrasher, and the new support for in-game tournaments. There are already several tournaments available for avid players to try out, even.

Save the World, meanwhile, is getting a new sort of experimental mission in the form of Bata Storms, which means players can test out something novel in the game. There are also new power level restrictions on players queueing up for missions, which effectively blocks lower-level players from joining matches which they have little to no hope of effectively contributing to. Check out the full patch notes no matter which flavor of the game you prefer.
