Crowfall prepares to commence its first campaign

November is here, and with it comes the beginning of the path to Crowfall’s first real campaign, in which players will finally be able to vie for control of the land with an actual win condition. Only one faction will emerge victorious, and throughout the month, the folks at ArtCraft Entertainment will be releasing a series of updates to give players all the knowledge they need to prepare themselves for war. In addition to promising information on training, gearing up, harvesting, and choosing factions, the official post also teases an upcoming game update that will implement a “new lobby flow and character creation improvements.”

And in case you missed it amid your own Halloween festivities, the latest Crowfall livestream also contained a few tasty nuggets of information as well as a brand-new trailer, which you can see below. The full livestream is a solid 45 minutes long, and it’s certainly worth a watch for die-hard Crowfall fans, but if you’re tight on time, the highlights of the stream were a preview of the new cluster map, which outlines the territories over which the game’s three factions will be competing, and the announcement that the first campaign should be hitting the game’s test environment sometime this month.

Once they have one class in for each archetype and functioning , they have a template to build new ones from fairly quickly.

It’s more important to get the actual cornerstone of the game functioning at this point, I imagine.
