Given that today is what it is, you’re probably going to watch this whole Ship of Heroes video the way I did: waiting for the punchline. But there isn’t one. This is a real update. And no amount of my telling you that will convince you. Some things you just have to learn on your own.
In the video, Heroic Games’ environmental artist is showing off multiple improvements to Apotheosis City, including the new City Hall. Just note that it’s internal footage rather than a complete end product, which is why the artist is running around as a robot instead of a hero.
“Highlights include the north end of the map with city hall, new road textures, street lights, lighted traffic signs, nighttime street lighting, new buildings, and many 3D changes on the rolling hills of the city,” the team says.
