As Fortnite players now well know, things are getting pretty wacky with the timestream in the game’s world, and no more is that apparent than in part of the battle royale map which is now under the effects of a sort of collapsed pocket of space-time. Perhaps I’m applying too much theoretical science here, though; all that you really need to know is that Neo Tilted has reverted to its old Western town roots.
The Tilted Town Rift Zone is a section of the Fortnite battle royale map that sees Neo Tilted become not-so-neo anymore. While players are in this Rift Zone, they’re prohibited from building and harvesting. Tilted Town will also feature some weapons that only spawn there such as the Hunting Rifle, the Six Shooter, and the Infantry Rifle. Additionally, battle royale is seeing a new full-auto sniper rifle and a will soon see a new Arsenal LTM where players battle it out with all of the game’s weapons starting from highest rarity to lowest; the player who gets an elimination with the final weapon wins.
Speaking of LTMs, Creative Mode is getting two of them that were featured in the Fortnite World Cup: Sky Station Showdown, which has squads battle it out to capture zones and earn points, and Junkyard Juke, which tasks teams with bringing junk to their Incinerator to score points, with larger pieces of junk worth more. There’s even a little something for you folks still playing Save the World in the form of a new weekly quest and the return of the Typewriter assault rifle. Make sure to scour the patch notes for all the details.
