Let’s start with the good news: If you’re familiar with Taliesin & Evitel, you are also familiar with the pair doing a long-running series of videos providing commentary and examination of World of Warcraft from multiple angles. The official Twitter account for the show has announced that this year, the duo will be serving as the hosts for the WoW Q&A at BlizzCon, with the initial tweet happily announcing that Taliesin will be running around with the microphone for people to ask questions.
The bad news is that if you’re one of the people looking for clarification about how the Q&A will be run, this one doesn’t have it. When asked, the response was that the session will be run “in the same manner as the WoW Q&A has been run since around 2011,” but reports from former Blizzard employees and those who were on the show floor have been conflicting; some sources claim that questions have always been pre-screened even for those taking the microphone live on the floor, while others claim that you simply lined up and waited to ask a question. So the debate over “will it all be pre-screened” or “will it be a combination of live questions and pre-screened ones” remains (and we know at least some will be pre-screened no matter what)… which means that no one is likely to feel any differently about the Q&A panel than they did beforehand.
If you haven’t been watching the situation closely, the question of whether or not questions will be live or not ties in with the talk about protests at BlizzCon following Blizzard’s handling of a pro-Hong Kong statement following a Hearthstone esports match.
We are also very excited and terrified to finally announce that we will be hosting the World of Warcraft Q&A panel at Blizzcon 2019!
Evi will be on-stage being all pregnant and Tali will be holding the mic for the peps asking q's like a total dweeb. Hope you can join us! 🧐🐙🦑 pic.twitter.com/cAuj3ImakB

As many people have clarified, the questions will be submitted, chosen and asked in exactly the same manner that the WoW Q&A has been since around 2011
