It appears that EVE Online is keen to celebrate wormholes soon. The game’s next update is all in on wormholes and wormhole-related content, announcing increased connectivity chances between wormholes and added roaming connectons between high-class wormholes. The New Eden Store will also be offering discounts on related cosmetics like the Sisters of EVE One Eden Bundle, the Heron Zento Isidenko Combine SKIN, and more, and there’s promise of changes to “a certain Drifter NPC who loved the Astrahus a little too much.”
Incidentally, the annual pirate meet-up Guardian’s Gala is coming soon. This event will not only be in known space but will also feature challenging sites and more unique rewards in wormhole space. Those who like to PvP in wormhole space will also be getting an increase in loot drops, so perhaps keep your head on a swivel when you’re traversing this part of New Eden.
The update is due to arrive this coming Tuesday, February 11th, while the Guardian’s Gala will follow shortly after, running between February 13th through the 24th.
