EVE Online celebrates 17 years with login rewards and Triglavian fights

While this celebration was brought up in the EVE Pulse video, 17 years of operation is definitely nothing to sneeze at nor put as a bullet point in a wrap-up video, so consider this your reminder of EVE Online’s 17th anniversary celebration, which is kicking off today and eats its birthday cake all the way through Tuesday, May 19th.

The event will be marked by login rewards that span the entire length of the celebration, offering SKINs, apparel, Skill Points, Filaments, and Boosters for everyone, plus extra goodies for Omega Clones. All players need to do is login for 10 of the 14 days to get every freebie possible, and if one is so moved to upgrade from Alpha to Omega, you’ll retroactively receive all of the Omega rewards. Presumably, this will also run alongside the regular login rewards that were recently added.

Of course, there’s more than just showing up going on, as there will also be the Capsuleer Day Clash which spawns battlecruiser-restricted event sites and advanced event sites all over Lowsec, Nullsec, and wormhole space where players have to stop the Triglavians from attacking research facilities. Taking part in these fights will reward even more SKINs, limited time cerebral accelerators, limited time standings boosters and special limited time 10 pilot Needlejack Filaments. These Clash events will run between May 7th and May 20th.
