Literally every time Meat Week comes around in Fallout 76, I start snickering like a child, and I’m not even sorry. Yep, it’s back as of this morning, according to Bethsoft’s latest dev missive.
“Everybody’s favorite Super Mutant, Grahm, and his faithful Brahmin, Chally the Moo-Moo, are back for another celebration of all things meat! In case you missed it, the Meat Week Seasonal Event is scheduled to kick off today, August 20. For the next seven days, you can take on Prime Beasts throughout Appalachia at Primal Cuts events, which will begin every 15 minutes. Take the Prime Meat you earn from completing these events to Grahm’s Meat-Cook near Vault 76 at the top of every hour, and then turn it in for some Legendary Scrips. While you’re there, you can lend the Super Mutant a hand with throwing his shindig. The more successful the party, the better your chances to receive some fun rewards!”
There’s a bit more to the dev blog, including the news that the public test server is open for players to come break it, particularly the daily ops and lowbie play; participants will be richly rewarded (with pennants in the live game). Bethsoft is also patting everyone on the back for the successful ATLAS event this summer; the second leg of that community effort, Project Bravo, begins next week. Pro tip: You’re going to need a lot of wood.
