At this point, it wouldn’t surprise us if Project Gorgon never actually launched but rather stayed in its early access cocoon indefinitely. At least we know that the MMO would continue to grow at a steady pace, even if it didn’t get an official release.
And so the pupa grows even larger this week with the game’s September 2020 update. This time around, the patch is all about dungeons — new ones and revisions to an older lair. Project Gorgon added a Fae Realm group dungeon as well as a solo excursion inside of Hogan’s Keep. The game’s developers also updated the Goblin Dungeon with a brand-new art set to make it less “ugly.” Hey, their word, not ours.
The patch also added rotating Aurest Missions: “The Autumn Resistance is looking for mighty heroes who are willing to work for Councils. Each day there’s a different high-level group dungeon available from the local Aurest leader, who can be found in the casino (usually near the bar).”
