RuneScape expands on Construction Contracts in a dev blog and livestream

So just what are Construction Contracts in RuneScape? That’s a question that was answered in-depth by both a recent dev blog and a sneak peek livestream, but in summary, they’re meant to be a way for players to train the Construction skill while getting all the XP normally earned in a player house.

To begin with, players need to be level 40 in Construction before taking on Construction Contracts. With that prerequisite met, it’s a matter of speaking to an Estate Agent, going to a house, and fixing up an NPC’s furniture. The higher a player’s Construction level, the higher the tier of planks that can be used, which means the contract gets done faster and the NPC gives a higher rating for more XP.

The livestream, meanwhile, offered a live look at how Construction Contracts play out, along with a look at the goodies at the Estate Agent’s shop and details about associated achievements. You can check out the written summary or watch the full broadcast after the cut.
