In what’s being touted as Drakensang Online’s “biggest content expansion to date,” the Dark Legacy update has brought some pretty hefty numbers of things to the MMOARPG this month. Of note is a brand-new story arc with more than 150 quests that promises players “will meet new friends, face new foes, and reforge old alliances” as well as face off against a fearsome new boss.
In addition, the Dark Legacy update adds over 1,000 new item variations complete with a new dark visual style to complement the update’s theme, along with new maps featuring new urban and open areas, dungeons, PvP arenas, and event dungeons. The update also brings some updates under the hood, with restructured UI elements, a revamped skill tree for all classes, new improvements to the game’s crafting, and a revamped loot system that promises to “[make] every item drop more meaningful as it increases the value of each drop significantly and reduces the chances of trash drops.”
The latest update for Drakensang Online is so big, players will actually have to download a guide to learn about it all. Or perhaps they can simply fire up the game and dive in themselves.
