The homeowners association says “no statues” and I take those rules very seriously, up to and including renting construction equipment to knock over statues when it is necessary. History will vindicate me.
The statue in question memorialized the 1984-1992 situation comedy Who’s The Boss?, which is morally reprehensible to me and left me with no choice but to pay a large amount of money to rent a front loader and drive it into your lawn, chewing up your grass, to knock over your statue. History will vindicate me.
I have spent ten months of my life learning how to properly operate a front loader after never believing that it would happen, rented one to knock down two statues, and at that point I was simply high on power. History will vindicate me.
What Are You Playing will vindicate me.
Bonus question: Is there anything you particularly dislike ordering online?
Andy McAdams: Oh who knows? Probably World of Warcraft, though I don’t think I’ve ever played a game who resented me as much as WoW does at the moment. The story about the new-old-blood coming back into Guild Wars 2 has me picking up my Mesmer to putz around again, and I’m still playing around in The Elder Scrolls Online. I don’t think any of the three would hold my attention if it was just them, but splitting my time between the three maybe I won’t get bored, maybe?
Bonus Question: I was going to say perishable food, but then I realized that I had a meal service for a while, which is effectively buying perishable food online. So that’s out. I guess I rarely order pants online?
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’ll be in Albion Online, Star Wars Galaxies Legends, and hopefully Crowfall this weekend. Actually, I will probably prioritize Crowfall. I’m coming up on the end of my premium sub in Albion, and I’m gonna have to decide whether I’m staying or going or breaking.
Perfume, shoes, and paint. I love shopping for these things, but inevitably, I’m going to get a weird scent, a funky fit, or a color with the wrong undertone!
Carlo Lacsina (@UltraMudkipEX, YouTube, Twitch): I’ll probably be playing Valorant when I get time. I probably won’t have time for a full game, but I’ll be knocking out some deathmatches to complete my battle pass! They have some sweet gun skins around and I’m even considering buying their newest Ruined King themed skinset. It might set me back like $90 but those skins look nice
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): It’s moar spaceships moar often, with some Elite Dangerous and Star Trek Online on deck, though I’ll also likely break it up with some more Final Fantasy XIV as well.
Definitely clothes, though specifically pants and shoes. Guy sizes seem uniform most of the time, but for whatever reason not every shoe size or pants waist size is a universal constant, which is annoying when at a physical store, let alone a digital one.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Honestly, I’m not sure just yet. I’ve accomplished most of what I want in FFXIV before the expansion at this point, the current state of WoW doesn’t exactly inspire me to dive in exuberantly, and those are my main options at this point. Maybe it’ll be a single-player sort of weekend for me.
I really hate buying groceries online, for a variety of reasons. They’re not great reasons, but it’s most down to just the tactile feel of browsing things.
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’ll be playing a little bit of the Dragon Bash festival in Guild Wars 2. I think the only things I have left to complete for the annual are the race events. But the majority of my time is going to be in Crowfall. This is the first post-release weekend so things are bound to be popping off!
Bonus: I don’t like ordering clothes online. You just know the fit is going to be terrible but I do it anyways.
