Ingredients: Almonds, milk
Directions: In a large saucepan, pour in your milk. Then pour in the almonds. See, it’s almond milk! Isn’t that clever? See, everyone laugh. Also, it’s now crunchy, because almonds are crunchy. Yes, this was all a setup for this joke.
Oh, Aidan, now’s the time you have to bring up your lactose intolerance? Jeez, Aidan, stop being such a drama queen. No one cares, Aidan! Look, we invite you to these events out of pity but we’re really pretty much done with it. No, don’t rush to the bathroom. Oh, real mature, Aidan! Crying in the bathroom while you make noises, that’s excellent.
Folks, can we just stop inviting Aidan to our What Are You Playing cooking parties? Seriously.
Bonus question: How many people share the space where your computer is located?
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Too many games and updates coming out. I’ve never been in this position before, but I’ve been playing Pokemon Go, Pokemon Unite, and just a little bit of New Pokemon Snap lately (if only the last one had real multiplayer!). That being said, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is gonna get the most attention. I finally got to the post game and… wow, so overwhelming. I haven’t felt like beating the game was so, “This is just the beginning” since Monster Hunter Tri.
My computer is in my room, so it’s a 1-Andrew operation. In rare cases, I may allow someone to sit on my bed for a bit to check something out, but for the most part, no other humans allowed.
Ben Griggs (@braxwolf): More EVE Online. I’ve just joined a corporation focused on industrial operations, so now my hobby really is a job. We’ll see what’s involved with asteroid mining and manufacturing. For the belt!
I’ve got a little office room with my work and gaming computers. Occasionally my daughter will come in and play Roblox or The Sims next to me, but I’m usually in here by myself. That’s what happens when your kids all reach the teen years and don’t want to hang around you any more
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’m wrapping things up in Albion Online over the next week or so, so I’ll be in there a bit, and I’m planning to dabble in Guild Wars 2 and Star Wars Galaxies Legends as usual. After that, not sure.
We arranged our house so that the front room is mostly a study with workspaces for my husband, me, and both our kids, so four. Our den is where normal humans would stick a dining room, and our kitchen has an eat-in bar. No room for formal dining or formal foyer here!
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Eh, this is going to be a review-heavy weekend for me, so not a whole lot of time to play MMOs. Not that I have a whole lot to do in Final Fantasy XIV at the moment anyhow, so that balances out all right.
My wife and I shared our office space for a long time, but we relocated her down into the den so now the upstairs office is mine and mine alone. As befits my space, it is covered in toys.
