A while back, I was playing Lord of the Rings Online when a player in chat remarked that he had spied a specific constellation in the night sky.
Friends, I am literally married to an astrophysicist who helms an observatory, and I love taking screenshots of vast sky expanses, so I am a bit embarrassed to admit I had not only never noticed the Pleiades in LOTRO but had never really spent much time looking up at the Middle-earth sky at all. And in fact, it’s gorgeous. And I’m sure it’s not alone!
