Tomorrow’s Diablo Immortal update ushers in the Diablo equivalent of Lunar New Year celebrations with Tong-Shi’s Renewal limited-time event.

“Tong-Shi—a god of the Xian pantheon—invites you to his Renewal, a call to bask in the fading glow of a finished year and begin the cycle anew, and welcome a new year with open arms and optimism,” NetEase and Blizzard say.

“From January 31, 3:00 a.m.–February 25 2:59 a.m. server time, players can complete up to five tasks a day to earn festive rewards, such as Red Bags and Tseym. The 5 tasks to complete for rewards include: Dungeons, Elder Rifts, killing elite monsters, Bounties, and defeating Jingun (who becomes available to destroy on February 9). Completing these tasks earns you Red Bags and Tseym. There is no limit to the number of times you can complete these tasks for rewards, but there is a weekly limit for how many rewards you can earn, to a limit of 30 Red Bags and 100 Tseym each week that Tong-Shi’s Renewal is active.”

Tomorrow’s update further introduces updates to familiars, new bounties, and chat for PC, as well as kicks off a reprise for the Howler Hunt event, Trial of the Hordes, All Clans on Deck, Fractured Plane, Hungering Moon, Conqueror, Wild Brawl, Shady Stock, all staggered out through February 24th to keep you busy. The Season 23 Battle Pass is also set to launch February 15th.

Maintenance begins at 3 a.m. EST tomorrow morning (January 31st); servers should be back up with the patch by 5 a.m. EST.

Do note that the next update won’t be in two weeks, owing to the real-world Lunar New Year holiday; expect it in three weeks instead.
