Albion Online brings an activity journal and Roads of Avalon tweaks in July’s Paths to Glory update

Whenever Albion Online director Robin Henkys sits in the Comfy Chairâ„¢, you know that there’s some news coming to the sandbox MMORPG. And sure enough, fans are getting their first taste of July’s major content update, Paths to Glory.

At the heart of this update is the new Albion journal, which offers up lists of increasingly difficult tasks across all of the sandbox’s activities. Naturally, players can look forward to unique rewards for completing this to-do list such as a mount, but more details will be shared later.

There is mercifully more than a book of chores planned for Paths of Glory as well. This includes the ability for guilds to own multiple guild islands, the ability for weapons to be double overcharged, and the ability for all weapon spells to be used at Tier 4 and above.

Also, there’s a wide assortment of changes to the Roads of Avalon, like adjusted connections to the open world and the addition of activity-based spawn rates for treasures, mobs, and resources.

Other features of note include some new crystal weapons, maps that open entrances to corrupted dungeons, a party ready check feature, and three new activity events for Roads of Avalon, Tracking, and the Mists. More information is set to come out soon, but you can either read the summary post or watch Henkys’ video digest from the Comfy Chairâ„¢ below.
