Starbase begins public testing of warp travel, universe map feature, and a station builder

Back in April, we noted a sudden return from radio silence for the sci-fi building sandbox Starbase, which at the time talked up several upcoming features such as warp travel for ships, a new universe map, and other features. Two months later, developer Frozenbyte is ready to let players try these features out on the PTS.

In addition to the aforementioned warp travel and universe map features, this build will also introduce a new station editor feature to let players craft capital ships, moon bases, and space stations, which will feature a stations blueprint function that works similar to the one in the spaceship creator.

The build also includes several updates and fixes to planets, ships, UI, stations, and the spaceship creator. Access to this PTS is done with a new separate app that should be available to those who have already purchased Starbase, otherwise the patch notes detail all of the changes being tested.
