If you’ve been enjoying playing Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, or Battlefield Hardline on your older consoles, you should get in your last matches in while you can. As of July 31st, these games will be de-listed from digital storefronts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the three titles scheduled to have their online components shut down on November 7th. Owners of the games will still be able to play them without online functionality.

Worth noting is that this announcement for these titles only applies to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC owners will still be able to play all four titles, while the latter two are also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series One, and all of those platforms are unaffected. This is just about the older consoles, it seems. Which is less than ideal if that is your preferred way to play, we know, and it raises the question of why these older versions are specifically being shuttered… but either way, you have a couple months to go.
