It’s summertime in Tower of Fantasy and that can mean only one thing: entering a character’s dorm to interact with her in some very slinky lingerie. It also means there’s other new things to do as part of the shared world RPG’s Cool Coastline update.
We’ll get the fanservice-y portion of the update out of the way first: Among the new features in the patch is a Dorm option in the simulacra interface that lets players enter a character’s apartment to… well, to ogle her, frankly, as she relaxes with a beverage, plays pool, and takes naps.
This feature provides a number of customization choices for the character’s outfit, what looks like the ability to interact with her (like taking off her stockings), and there’s a related event that grants vouchers to spend on dorm customization. This feature appears to be specific to only a single character in the roster, but it’s possible this will expand if it’s popular, which is pretty much the case judging by player response.
Obviously there’s more than just anime girls in showy outfits (though that will be a thing too since this is The Beach Episode): The new update also adds a new Aesperia Central District map with some new quests and a new boss monster; begins the Seaside Summer Bash that features new events like a beach volleyball minigame, a summer concert, and fights against angry fruit; and introduces the new character, Nola, who uses a motorcycle as a melee weapon. There’s also a multitude of other events for the game as well beyond dressing up a lady’s dorm.
