If you can’t tell, we’ve all been a bit ensorcelled by cutesy pixel survivalbox Necesse in the wake of the graphical update that put it back on our radar. In its latest address to players, Studio Fair Games says it’s happy to see the player response, and now it’s pushed out another small update to fix icons and pieces of art that escaped notice in the visuals overhaul earlier this month – and released a roadmap to the game’s 1.0 launch.

“Our next update is going to be focused on Tutorials & Onboarding while also adding improvements to the settlers/settlement parts of Necesse,” the studio says. “That doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait for new content though, since we plan to release content updates in between the major ones.” Beyond that, we’re looking at improvements to settlements, settler interactions, the economy, and plenty more.

MOP’s Fight or Kite columnist Sam deep-dived the game last week, finding it an impressive entry in the Minecraft and Terraria multiplayer sandbox subgenre.
