Valheim begins dropping teases for its next update due in the fall

This past May saw Valheim finally introduce its Ashlands biome and related gameplay additions after a year and a half of wait, but if Iron Gate’s latest dev blog teases are to be believed, fans won’t have to wait nearly as long for more updates to the game.

The post focuses on a couple of teases for an update due sometime in the fall, such as an overhaul to Hildir’s camp, further unspecified improvements, and a teaser image of “something brand new brewing in the Swamps.” The post otherwise calls attention to its board game version, which is still preparing to launch its crowdfunding drive on Gamefound.

As for more current events in Valheim, its latest patch applies a boatload of fixes fresh from the public test realm, including tweaks to things like flametal mining, spawn rates for Ashland enemies, a variety of build pieces, and cooking. It’s an overall chonky list of fixes that can be read in the link above.
