I’m having a pretty great time on Lord of the Rings Online’s new progression server, partially because it’s keeping the community in the same level range and zones. That means I keep bumping into people all the time, and I’ve become pretty liberal with the “invite to fellowship” button when I see someone doing the same thing as me.
The other night there was a Rune-keeper who was obviously farming the same ruins, so we teamed up to blast through the deed even faster. It wasn’t long before we fell into a rhythm of killing and healing, punctuated by casual chat about classes and the server experience so far. It turned what would’ve been a routine evening into a much more memorable one.
