Amazon ran a second beta for New World’s Aeternum over the weekend, and I didn’t have time to play – but fortunately, MOP’s Tyler did. And I really just wanted to see one thing anyway, and that is the insanity of the babbys-first-camps literally covering the entire newbie map.

Well, MMO players delivered.

The comment thread is filled with players reminiscing about the good old days of the game’s launch (only three years ago). Even I got a hit of nostalgia and I haven’t really played seriously since launch. There’s something about that shared cultural throwback experience that just can’t be beaten.
