You already knew Pantheon was heading to early access in December. You knew this because Visionary Realms announced quite clearly all the way back in July. So this afternoon’s announcement that the game is heading to early access in December is a tad bit redundant.

What is new is the early access trailer than just premiered, with a pitch for the Kickstarted MMORPG’s challenging group-centric content and everything that’s coming with the early access update, including the monetization revamp: The studio is ending its pledge package system and switching to a flat box fee for the full launch game, with a price yet to be announced. It sounds as if there won’t be a sub during early access, either, though the team may at one at launch.

Players can also expect a level cap of 40, six zones, crafting, the climate acclimation system, enemy traits, better tutorials, guild support, and a “commitment to continuous updates and player feedback integration post-early access release.”

“This is not a soft launch,” Visionary Realms cautions. A quarterly roadmap will begin in 2025.

“With Early Access set to commence this December, players can expect a seamless transition from the current Testing Seasons into the developing world of Terminus with no limits, brimming with adventure, exploration, and camaraderie. Visionary Realms remains committed to ensuring a smooth, engaging gameplay experience for all, with ongoing updates and features planned for the future.”
