World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary patch has been out barely a week now, and Blizzard is already talking — and testing — the next content patch for this fantasy MMO.
Patch 11.0.7 goes onto the PTR on Thursday, but you don’t have to log into it to get a preview of the new zone that’s included. The studio posted a “sneak peek” video for Siren Isle, the centerpiece of the update, where “mystery and mayhem” await.
Siren Isle won’t be a mere tourist attraction; this zone is designed to be “an engaging outdoor endgame experience that would cater to a whole bunch of different playstyles and player types.” It used to be a mining outpost before everyone there disappeared, but, sure, it’s probably safe to come back.
Also bundled in with this patch is a new best-in-slot ring, a storm crow mount, more story (including a prelude for Patch 11.1), Arathi ear customizations for Humans and Kul Tirans, and the return of Plunderstorm.
