Hybrid hero shooter Supervive moves up its open beta to November 20

When last we checked in with hybrid hero shooter Supervive at last month’s Steam Next Fest, we noted that Theorycraft Games was hoping to get this title into open beta by the end of the year. Today we can report that the studio is actually ahead of schedule on this, having moved up its OBT to November 20th.

The open beta follows the October demo that “welcomed hundreds of thousands of new players” and will take players on a journey to the future 1.0 release. But between those two points is a “transdimensional winter-themed event” in December with new map evolutions, powers, cosmetics, and even “hints at further development to come.”

Signups for the closed beta doubled-up with newsletter sign-ups on the official site, so we’re guessing the team will do the same thing for open beta – unless it goes with another free demo as it did for Steam Next Fest.
