Black Desert improves accessory enhancement and monster zones on PC, previews a costume extraction feature on console

While the mobile version of Black Desert got top billing thanks to some major updates, this week is not without news from the PC and console versions of the sandbox MMORPG, though arguably there’s more things for the former than the latter. Either way, here’s what’s new.

The PC version’s weekly patch is marked by accessory enhancement features and monster zone tweaks: The recently added Kharazad accessories now have a new item known as the Faint Origin of Dark Hunger that slightly increases the chance at enhancement chance. As for monster changes, those include new topography for the Tungarad Ruins, changed locations for kkebidols in Dokkebi Forest, and more of an enemy type at Honglin Base alongside smaller tweaks to other such areas.

As for BDO Console, there are no new updates this week, but players can look forward to a costume extraction feature that will let them extract cron stones and valks’ cry items from costume pieces. This will introduce some slightly lowered pearl prices for certain costume items, while Pearl Abyss will hand over a 50% discount coupon for costume purchases that can be used for a limited time. This system will make its way to the MMO on Thursday, November 14th.
