This week has a little bundle of highlights for Warframe players as the action multiplayer title slides its way into its alternate history past and its cross-platform save future.

First, Digital Extremes is reminding players to merge accounts ahead of the game’s upcoming cross-platform saving feature release on January 17th. That means that players who want to merge their accounts together have before then to get the job done.

Meanwhile, the game has released this month’s Prime Frame, Xaku, which features the usual extra gubbins like increased stats, an additional aura mod slot, and a bunch of shiny new weapons and cosmetics. This week also marks the re-opening of the Höllvania Central Mall social hub in order to get players hyped for the December 6th arrival of Warframe: 1999. This area will remain available until the update’s release.
