Eight years ago, the Star Wars fandom lost a legend when Carrie Fisher passed away on December 27th, and ever since the operators of the Star Wars Galaxies Legends rogue server have been running an in-game memorial event on that date to remember her role as the inimitable Leia Organa. And this year the event will be happening once again.
The memorial will be held at 4:00 p.m. EST at the Princess Leia and R2-D2 memorial in Dee’ja Peak, Naboo, where players are invited to gather and reflect on Fisher’s role and impact on the Star Wars world.
