Sometimes it feels like not a month goes by without us reporting that former Blizzard developers and execs started up a new game studio that’s out from under the EA Activision umbrella. We’ve certainly seen a lot of them over time, from Magic Soup Games to Dreamhaven to Frost Giant Studios to Second Dinner to Notorious Studios to Blue Scarab Entertainment.
It’s certainly good to see all of this talent reinvested into the video game industry, although not all of these studios have produced amazing results yet. But when you think of these studios populated or started by ex-Blizzard talent, which has you the most excited? Which has the greatest potential to be something?
