This is the right one, right? Who cares, I don't, it's probably fine.
Eliot, being useless, forgot to finish writing this week’s What Are You Playing. Here are the notes he left in his file this week. He said not to post them, but I don’t care. -Bree

Bonus question: What’s your favorite odd-sounding word?

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): In addition to Pokemon Go, I’m hoping to really sink my teeth into Monster Hunter Wilds this weekend. Things have been crazy since before launch, I’ve barely been able to touch it!

Does “widget” count as odd sounding? Because I like how it sounds.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna.bsky.social, blog): I’m back in Lord of the Rings Online, with most of my toons now moved and ensconced in their new homes. I’ve been rotating between my Mariner and Champion so far, but I’m going to need to leave the alts behind and get back to my main character at some point.

I pick “orrery,” the rural juror of astronomical terminology.

Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes.bsky.social, blog): It’s more high rank grinding in Monster Hunter Wilds as I start to put together a loadout for the next weapon I’m working on mastering. I’m also thinking that I’ll peer back into Nightingale now that there’s a potentially more substantial thing awaiting at the end of it. Ideally, anyway.

Bonus: “Scurvy.” It sounds way more playful than it actually is and it even reads like a pirate-y sort of malady. Incidentally I’ll also say “malady” because now that I look, it appears less and less like a real word.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Some more Final Fantasy XIV as I prepare for the upcoming patch along with more Warframe as I prepare for the upcoming patch. I am noticing a theme.

People got so mad at the fact that “palimpsest” is a real word with a real meaning that I still hold an outsized affection for it.

Tyler Edwards (blog): Checking out the new stuff in The First Descendant. I’m hatching an evil scheme involving the new buzzsaw thrower gun and mutli-hit modules. May play some World of Warcraft on the side.

Every Saturday, join the Massively OP community and staff for What Are You Playing, our roundup of what MMORPGs and other games we’re hoping to play this weekend (with a bonus question or two for our amusement). Tell us what you’re up to! Go off-topic! And don’t forget to have fun!
