Co-op airship sandbox Echoes of Elysium has a new early access date: January 27

We’ve finally got a hard date for Echoes of Elysium, again: It’s now launching into early access on January 27th. Readers will hopefully recall that the game was actually quiet most of last year, apart from launching a standalone airship tool, and re-emerged in November to announce a December 4 early access, along with a massive revamp. December 4th arrived with a delay and no new date. But now, it’s here.

“Loric Games, in partnership with Snail Games, have revealed that after a short delay, their new airborne open-world RPG crafting game Echoes of Elysium is coming to Steam Early Access on January 27th for $19.99 with a first week discount of 10% off,” Loric writes. “Build your ship, chart your course, and take to the skies alone or with friends and discover clockwork wonders that clash with ancient mysteries in an untamed paradise!”

The game is still promising 6-person co-op airship gameplay with crafting and aerial combat. What this press release doesn’t mention is what was first revealed back in November, when Loric told fans the team had spent the year “heads down” retooling everything in the game from systems to visuals – but you can see a few glimpses of that revamp in the videos below.
