See the differences between classic Morrowind and Elder Scrolls Online’s version

Due to the reverential status given to 2002’s Morrowind by many Elder Scrolls fans, interest in seeing what ZeniMax is doing with this June’s expansion is certainly strong. YouTuber Candyland investigated The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind’s beta and took pictures of notable locations that were also in the original game, then presented them side-by-side for comparison.

It’s incredibly interesting to see the differences in graphical fidelity between the two games as well as the changes incurred over time (as ESO takes place a long time before the era of the first Morrowind).

Once you’re done with the video, you can meet one of the characters that you’ll be encountering in the expansion, Archcanon Tarvus. He seems like a fairly severe cleric who wields considerable power on the island.
