RuneScape fixes evil trees and ‘horribly deformed’ livestock as Jagex celebrates a $250K charity donation

Another week, another RuneScape patch. It’s a tale as old as time, but as the headline alludes, this week’s set of patch notes has a couple of interesting fixes. For one, players should now be able to interact with evil trees. For another, cows and sheep will no longer be “horribly deformed” in the Add/Remove Animal interface. There’s more to the patch for this week, of course, like some more Archaeology adjustments, a buff to the blood reaver familiar, and a few other graphical and general fixes.

In related news, Jagex and players of both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape have come together to raise a total of £204,000, or $250,000 USD, for Jagex’s mental health charity partners CPSL Mind, The Prince’s Trust, and Rise Above the Disorder. The drive started with Jagex’s initial £100,000 donation and was bookended by player donations during Mental Health Awareness Week for an additional £104,000. That means all three charities get £68,000 each. Good on you, RuneScape players.
