Aw, there was a motorcycle on the moon? Darn it! Why do I have to spend this week’s What Are You Playing talking about the boring guy who married a motorcycle? This is boring! I want to know about the moon motorcycle! In my mind it’s my new best friend and I name it Alice and she lets me ride on her back and we have adventures on the moon in which we learn about the true meaning of gazpacho. That sounds much more interesting than some guy who married a motorcycle!
Fine. Once upon a time there was a dude named so-and-so who married his motorcycle. The marriage was loveless and the motorcycle divorced him to marry some hatchback. The end.
What? I told the story! What do you mean it was short on details?! I’m a concise storyteller, all right?! Don’t accuse me of leaving out details, you left out the interesting part! Oh, sure, storm away, real mature.
Honey come back I’m sorry.
Bonus question: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off that doesn’t involve traveling anywhere?
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Pokemon Go for Community Day and the V-day event (man, it’s raining rare pokemon!), Orna a bit from my bed, and a healthy dose of Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
No traveling anywhere? Like, lockdown mode without seeing friends? Bleh. I guess ordering pizza and wings and doing online games with friends.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’m still Team Lord of the Rings Online. Working multiple toons; I even started up a few classes I haven’t played much just to see how they hold up. But mostly I’m working on my Hunter and Lore-master still.
This is a trick question, right? The only correct answer here is playing MMOs!
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): I will very likely continue to mainline Lost Ark this weekend, but I also want to level a new alt in City of Heroes Homecoming as well; one of our readers shared a creation of his with me and I was inspired to make a duo counterpart.
Honestly, I’m pretty basic when it comes to what to do on my days off. Cook, play games, or just nap. I nap a lot more nowadays, actually.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Honestly, I’m thinking this is going to be a single-player kind of weekend for the most part as I work through a backlog of games on Steam and consoles from the holidays and recently. Just kind of want to be calm and quiet this weekend.
The best sorts of days at home without any travel tend to involve spending time with my spouse, honestly. We’re pretty good at finding fun things to share with one another, often just watching old favorite stuff, cuddling, and having good food.
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’m still rocking the Guild Wars 2 festival. It’s a much lighter one than Wintersday but I still have fun knocking the dailies out. I’m also trying to play through Mortal Online 2 to get into the game proper but we’ll see if I actually get there.
The best day off for me is the exact opposite. I love sitting at home in my PJs with a cup of coffee and no plans on the horizon.
