Wizard101 offered a juicy treat for players earlier this week with its birthday bash and Dungeon Defenders II collab, and now, KingsIsle’s other family MMO, Pirate101, has a news blast of its own. It’s a whole new update!

“Shifting sands give way to new adventures as soon, publisher KingsIsle Entertainment will invite new and existing players of swashbuckling MMORPG Pirate101 to enjoy its newest update: The Enemy Revealed!” the studio says. “Following the events of Through Death’s Door, The Enemy Revealed sees players entering the Temple of Anubis in Krokotopia to investigate what happened to the souls of the Pirate’s dead parents.”

The update includes new pharaoh gear, weapons, mounts, pets, housing items, a companion revamp, badges, enemies, the revival of Krokotopia, and of course, the storyline content itself.

“Weigh anchor, mateys, as Pirates finally get a peek into the vast sandscape of Krokotopia, a mysterious and arid realm inspired by ancient Egypt. The Enemy Revealed update comes with a pharaoh’s worth of exciting new content, including the shocking reappearance of The Armada. The scaly villains found in the Krokotopian town of Zigazag are not what players would expect; these aren’t Kroks, they’ve got wings! Skeletal Drakes and Draconian minions flood the battle-torn streets of the village, and only the Pirate and their crew can save the inhabitants. Players will finally see the face of the mysterious villain behind the disappearance of the Pirate’s parents. Additionally, pirates will face another hurdle: the Armada! Thought to be fully defeated in the previous arc, some of these mechanical fiends refuse to surrender, continuing their reign of chaos and creating more obstacles in the player’s endeavor to reach El Dorado.”

The patch notes and update are already live, and you can hop in right now.
