When Thursday arrives, nothing in WoW Classic will ever be the same… again. Well, that’s if you’re on the Season of Discovery server, which will progress into Phase 5 with a trio of newish raids to conquer.
Blizzard posted the patch notes for Phase 5 with a preview of the reworked Blackwing Lair, Zul’Gurub, and Crystal Vale raids. For Blackwing Lair, the studio is including a flexible Tier 2 armor system that allows players “to have the maximum amount of flexibility to either continue utilizing their existing Tier 1 bonuses but with the higher item level and power of Tier 2, or mix and match set bonuses from both sets to further customize their build all while maintaining a cohesive item appearance.”
Other changes of note include plenty of class rune tweaks, 12 new runes to purchase, a doubling of base honor gains for PvP, and incentives to run Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch battlegrounds.
