EVE Online’s mobile strategy spin-off, Galaxy Conquest, launches in late October

Sure, EVE Online’s seen more spin-offs than you can shake a stick at, but that’s the great thing about sticks — there’s always more shakin’ in them! And thus a twitch of CCP’s hands has produced a mobile title called EVE Galaxy Conquest.

Coming to the Apple App Store and Google Play on October 29th, Galaxy Conquest transplants the MMO to a 4X space strategy format: “Choose your Empire and form fleets with iconic ships from EVE Online to dominate the galaxy, whether by forming alliances or acting alone in a seasonal battle for factional supremacy. Build unstoppable armadas, form corporations with allies, and vie to conquer the cosmos itself.”

The more players that pre-register for Galaxy Conquest, the more initial rewards everyone will get including a Vexor spaceship.

But if you prefer to stay in the totally safe environs of the original EVE Online, you can have fun with the return of the annual month-long Halloween event, Crimson Harvest, which begins on October 3rd.
