That’s right, kids, it’s Story Time with Tarisland once again, as this time around Tencent is taking players through the extremely descriptive Incendiary Lava dungeon that’s arriving with the Blight Dragon Elegy season update.
We’re once more treated to the extremely odd backstories of the encounter’s three bosses, which include an alchemist whose quest for immortality managed to see him turned into a snake monster made of lava, a resurrected evil king who seeks to burn down the kingdom of Grenny, and a “blood phoenix” who seems to have been kept within the body of a vengeance-focused princess of Grenny; the implication of how this phoenix got willfully implanted in her is… yep.
This is the third such dungeon lore preview that Tarisland has graced the MMORPG world with, which means we’re in for at least one more of these things considering that’s how many dungeons are arriving with Season 1. Just brace yourselves, folks. We’re almost at the end of this tunnel.
