That’s right, Blizzard is going to collaborate with itself to celebrate itself in another game: Diablo Immortal’s latest roadmap preview confirms that there will be something coming to the mobile OARPG at some point in November that will commemorate the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft.
What this collab will involve isn’t specified beyond a banner in the roadmap and the promise of more details soon. What is otherwise planned through the final two months of 2024 is a new worldstone quest, a new zone, dungeon updates, and new helliquary bosses, followed by the return of the Brumaltine holiday event.
Over in Diablo IV, meanwhile, Blizzard is calling attention to new accessibility features added to the game with the launch of Vessel of Hatred. These include auto-pins for newly unlocked quest objectives, a compass at a character’s feet that points to the current objective, and an audio navigation function that directs players to objectives via spatial audio pings.
We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with World of @Warcraft in honor of their 20th anniversary, coming next month!
