Just because the month of December is associated with some of the cozier holidays doesn’t mean that fans of the early access multiplayer survivalbox RuneScape: Dragonwilds can’t enjoy a little bit of creepiness. At least that appears to be the plan, as Jagex has confirmed that the Fellhollow region will be arriving to the game on Monday, December 15th.

The launch date of the zone was made by way of a new trailer that sets the scene for the spooky new region, offering some in-game looks at the ghosts, zombies, and dragons that occupy the so-called “mockery of the underworld.” The trailer awaits below for your viewing pleasure, particularly if you’re the sort of person who likes the horror vibe in December.

As for what’s prepared for the month of November, Jagex confirms that it’s mostly going to be about previews of Fellhollow, with looks at the region, some of its foes, the sound design, animation work, and what the upcoming Farming skill line will bring to the game. The studio is also kicking off a cape design contest in the official Discord that follows the theme of Fellhollow and the upcoming gear sets that are on deck.
