Folks, do you find yourself with too much ham in your house? If not, go buy some ham, then throw it at some vicious hyenas. Note that I said “at” and not “to,” in case that was unclear. I am advocating spending like $200 on ham and then hurling it, at high velocity, toward the nearest hyena. Even if that means getting in your car and going to the zoo, jumping the fence, and beaning some stupid hyena with a glazed ham.
You have to admit, those stupid not-dog losers deserve to be hit in the face with processed pig meat.
Before you get on with throwing ham, though, you should probably check out this week’s installment of What Are You Playing. Not because it has vital information regarding hams and hyenas, no; because we want to tell you what we’re up to over the weekend and we’re curious about your weekend plans. Or at least what they would have been before you flung a ham at a vicious predator that can chase you down and bite off your legs.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Same as usual for me: Tinkering in Ultima Online, playing around in Guild Wars 2, probably logging into Marvel Heroes Saturday for the free Iron Man skin.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): No one told me that Chroma Squad exists, which means that it is absolutely mandatory for me to buy and play that. Seriously, my usual information channels are apparently for crap. I’m also going to be doing my usual weekend stuff in World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, not necessarily (read: definitely not) in that order.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): Right now I’m more or less splitting my attention between WildStar and Star Wars: The Old Republic, both in response to patches (one upcoming, one already here). I’ve also started dabbling in Shroud of the Avatar, although it’s an update week so I’m sure that it’s going to be a little messy in the game. Finally, I picked up Kerbal Space Program and have entered into a 12-week course to help me understand how to actually play it.
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I finally get to play a female model in H1Z1, and since they had to wipe to put it in, I have plenty of new supplies to hoard and a new base to build. I also convinced a couple more friends to get Grand Theft Auto Online, so there will be a few crime sprees as well. Any leftover moments will be spent on EverQuest II Heritage Quests.
Tina Lauro (@purpletinabeans): Shock horror: Tina’s playing Guild Wars 2 this weekend! I’m seriously considering levelling a Mesmer now after the elite specialization reveal. I’m a bit of a Harry Potter nut and am particularly obsessed with Miss Granger, so I always fancied messing with chronomancy à la my frizzy-haired, time-turner wielding geek role model.
Your turn!
