Star Citizen aims to make its damage feel complete. Your ship doesn’t take a 15-point hit; you have a blowout in your starboard plasma relays, and you then have to take appropriate actions. But how does that translate into gameplay without being overly complex? The latest set of community questions and answers from the designers make it clear that it’s more about breaking the response down to a series of simple actions, so while the overall process is complex, the actual play is straightforward.

The devs also cover building structures and how things like repair bots will work; they’ll probably fix things up when ordered but will be focused on a patch job rather than full repair.
