The current expansion for World of Warcraft takes place on a world where there are no trolls, which means that it’s unlikely we’ll get an entire patch centered around killing trolls or even a new troll-themed dungeon. Thus, the latest timewalking dungeon preview shows off Gundrak, proving that even if you can’t get a new dungeon full of troll fights, you can at least go back to an older dungeon that still asks you to deal with them.
If you don’t remember Gundrak, then the good news is that the preview serves as a quick recounting of the lore, layout, and mechanics. Essentially, it’s the last stronghold of trolls who killed their own gods to stand against the Scourge. That might seem like it results in fewer gods and more people with stolen powers who can’t match the full might of those gods, but then, you’re going in and killing them all anyway, so it probably doesn’t matter all that much.
